Our College

Principal’s Welcome

Welcome to Havenport MSL College.

At Havenport, we believe every young person deserves to feel understood, valued and capable of success. Our College was founded by parents who recognised that their children needed a learning environment designed around their individual strengths, needs and ways of learning. That commitment remains at the heart of everything we do.

We provide a nurturing, inclusive school community for neurodiverse students who may have found mainstream education challenging. Through evidence-based, multisensory teaching approaches and strong relationships, we help students build the confidence, skills and independence to engage positively in learning.

Our small-school setting means each student is known as an individual. We work closely with families to understand what matters most to their child, celebrate progress in all its forms and create meaningful pathways for growth. We know that success looks different for every learner, and we are proud to support each student to discover their strengths and realise their potential.

Since becoming a registered school in 2022, Havenport MSL College has grown from a powerful idea into a connected community where students can experience a genuine sense of belonging. Here, students are encouraged to be curious, resilient and confident in who they are.

I invite you to explore our website and learn more about the Havenport community. We would be delighted to welcome you.

Warm regards,

Danelee Moller

Business Manager

Havenport MSL College provides a nurturing and inclusive environment where every student is valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.

The idea for Havenport MSL College began when it became clear that some children were not reaching important educational milestones within mainstream primary schooling. A group of determined parents, passionate advocates for their children, chose to homeschool and undertake specialist training in evidence-based literacy instruction for dyslexic learners using a multi-sensory approach.

As the children’s confidence and learning grew, they expressed a desire to be part of a school community where they felt understood and supported. In response to this need, Havenport MSL College became a registered school with the Department of Education in 2022.

Today, the school has the capacity to support up to 40 neurodiverse students who may struggle in mainstream educational settings and who often have not felt fully understood in traditional schools.
